When I was 6 years old, I was taught the salvation message through colors of beads on a bracelet. This teaching has since been passed down and is still used today. Instead of beads, I thought about using ornaments. Each color shares a piece of the salvation message. What better time than Christmas to share the message of God's love and mercy for us. Here is a fun craft for the entire family to help spread the gospel this Christmas. There are two different ways to do this craft. Below are the steps for both of them along with the meaning of each color.

I was asked by a friend to help decorate for a Kate Spade Inspired Bridal Shower. First off, I've been admiring Kate Spade since I was a kid. I love the colors and the feminine edge she brings to her classic designs. Our color palette was hot pink, black, white and gold, The goal was to maintain the class that is Kate.
Here's the result!

Last month I was able to take a trip to Ocean City, NJ and Philadelphia, PA with some friends. My perception of New Jersey has always been what I've seen on the Jersey Shore and the Real Housewives of New Jersey. I wasn't sure what else to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised! Ocean City has a quaint beach town feel filled with beautiful boardwalks and sandy beaches. I absolutely loved it. It's also about 30 minutes from Atlantic City so we spent a day there as well. I did have some "GTL" moments, but I would definitely go back!
We only got to spend about 4 1/2 hours in Philly so we hit the most we could in that time. We found Rocky, ate some cheese steaks with Cheez Whiz, and stood in front of the Liberty Bell. I will definitely come back and spend a few days seeing everything else I missed.
Here are some photos of my trip!
