I found this DIY idea from a blog I “Stumbled Upon” called The Crafty CPA.  It’s super easy and this is how I did it!

The Painted Wall

I wanted to share with you an easy, inexpensive way to transform any room in your house. PAINT! When I moved in to my apartment every wall was off-white (like most apartments). I needed something different, and that’s where paint came in. Now, I love buying new accessories to decorate with just like anyone else, but in my opinion, paint is the greatest accessory.

You can choose to paint an entire room or just 1 or 2 walls. I love a good accent wall. It doesn’t take as much time, and it makes just as much of a statement.

I am inspired everyday by things I find in books or online. I want to share some of these finds with you. In addition to design information, I will also post DIY projects that I have tried. Since some are more complicated than others, I’ll try them out and let you know how it goes! I'll share the pics, materials, and step by step instructions of each project.

For the entertainment section, I want to share fun ideas that can make even the smallest get together a huge success! I'll post pictures, recipes, and décor ideas.Everything I know about entertaining comes from my mom. She will be my inspiration for this section. She is an amazing cook, and was born to throw a party! Whether it's a baby shower or a BBQ, she’s a pro.  

I am also starting a little business. Follow me as I search thrift stores, yard sales, front lawns and dumpsters for furniture and scraps that have been tossed aside and transform them into ready to use pieces for your space. I'll post before and after pics as well as have them for sale at a local market here in San Antonio.

I promise my posts won’t always be this long, but I’m kind of excited! Since this is my first blog, I am still working on all the ins and outs of everything. The finished blog will be available soon. Happy designingJ
