I've been a Pinning fool lately, and I can't help but notice a trend. YELLOW! I love yellow for every season. There are so many different types of yellow, that the possibilities are endless. I love the use of yellow in interior design as well as fashion. Take a look!

The Man Cave

Let's be honest, every man wants a man cave or at least a space they can call their own. Face it ladies, we take up all the room. I think it's a great idea to designate a space for the pool table, recliners and "spare" bigscreen TV. The man cave can be a spare room in the house, an empty garage, or a killer outdoor patio. So give your man a cave...you can keep the closet;)

The Wall Decal

Kids Room from Dezign with a Z

When I had the privilege of designing a pediatric office and I was introduced to the wall decal. I always stayed away from them because I felt like they were so permanent. I was afraid that if they weren't placed correctly the first time, not only would my decal be ruined, but so would the wall behind it.

The Couples Shower

My best friends Ashlei and Chad got married this past April and as bestie and MOH (Maid of Honor), I knew I wanted to throw an amazing shower for her. So my mom and I set out to accomplish just that. She of course did all the cooking and menu planning and I put my designing eye to work.
The Menu (some of my mom's go to favorites):
Balsamic Chicken Wings
Pork Tenderloin Sliders
Meatballs
Hash Brown Casserole
Broccoli Salad
Sangria
Cream Cheese & Candied JalapeƱo Dip

Hiding Places

I am all about clever storage ideas and these are some great built-in options I found on Pinterest and online if you are thinking about building a home or remodeling your current space. These options will give you more storage space both floor and counter from pots and pans to pantry items and toys.  Face it, most of us have way too much stuff and no where to put it, especially if you have kids.
