Gift For A Runner

My mom and I love to run and have run together in many races the past few years. She is a true inspiration to me. Not only does she run about 3 times a week, but she can run circles around most 20 somethings (myself included). Many of these races benefit breast cancer awareness foundations and as a breast cancer survivor they have a special place in her heart. I am blown away by her dedication and strength.

Christmas Party



Every year my parents host my Dad's Partner Christmas Party at their house. My mom creates a different theme for the food each year with this year's theme being Spanish Tapas. My mom had me come over and help with the decor for the tables. With these events, my goal for the decor is to create as much as I can in the most cost effective way possible while still making it beautiful. You don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to make the party decor truly amazing. With the cost of food these days, it's nice to be able to save money where you can. Here is the party in a nutshell. 

DIY: Christmas Centerpiece

I have been wanting to find different ways to use empty wine bottles for a while. After saving these 3 bottles for a few months, I decided I wanted to use them for my Christmas Centerpiece. However, I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to do or how it was going to turn out. After a few hours of Mod Podge and experimenting, this is what I came up with.
